Calcit Group consists of three production plants located in Slovenia, Croatia, and the Netherlands. Calcit also has its own ore deposits in Slovenia and Croatia. State-of-the-art technological equipment, excellent logistics connections and a highly skilled workforce guarantee uniform Calcit's standard at all locations. Each site meets the highest criteria of quality, efficiency, and environmental protection.
STAHOVICA
This is where Calcit has put down roots with the site of its corporate headquarters. Not only is Stahovica a place where we first started with the production of dry and wet calcium-carbonate products, it is also a home to a cutting-edge development and analysis laboratory. In the immediate vicinity of the headquarters, the Slovenia’s largest deposit of calcite and limestone is located. Calcit Stahovica is the region’s most successful company and one of the biggest employers.
GOSPIĆ
Opened in 2012, the production unit Calcit Lika in Gospić, Croatia, was a springboard for mass production and gaining a significant foothold at European market. The advanced production plant runs from purest ore of an in-house quarry. The industrial railway track ensures fast and efficient transport.
TERNEUZEN
With its strategic location, the all-new production plant in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, is a key plant for reaching wider northern European markets. Located on the North Sea coast, it has excellent logistical connections with the British Isles, Scandinavia and the Central European hinterland. Calcit Zeeland represents a set of Calcit's technological know-how and is based on the latest technologies for the production of calcium carbonate products.
